Obituary of Arcade Joseph Comeau

Arcade "Archie" Joseph Comeau Age 78, of Dayspring, died peacefully in hospital on August 27, 2012. He was the son of the late Gustave and Lorette Comeau, and was predeceased by his son Victor; brothers Hubert, Charles and Jean (“Hubie”); and sister Stella. He leaves behind his loving wife of 48 years, Janette (nee Clarke); daughters Yvonne Giles (Philip) and Carolyn Hebb (Royden); and son Nicholas (Alicia). He was adored by his granddaughters Taylor, Jaime, and Danielle. Archie is survived by sisters Edith, Rita, Anne, Edese and Bernice; and brother Willard. The family wishes to thank the nurses of the Fourth Floor Medical Unit of the South Shore Regional Hospital and sends a special “Thank You” to Dr. Heather Robinson for her excellent care and compassion throughout Archie’s illness. Funeral Mass to be held at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Bridgewater, at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday August 30, 2012, followed by interment at the Dayspring Cemetery and a reception at St. Joseph’s Parish Hall.
