Obituary of Norman Levi Daniels

Norman Levi Daniels 77, died at Hillside Pines Nursing Home, June 9, 2012. Born in Bridgewater, NS, he was the son of the late Reuben and Helen (Joudrey) Daniels. He is survived by his wife, Dianne (Carver), Bridgewater; sons, Norman Jr. (Melanie), Alberta; Richard, Sydney; Scott (Melissa), Halifax; daughters, Connie (Calvin) Banfield, Bridgewater; Lisa (Glenn) Bristol, East Port Medway. He was predeceased by son, Shannon (Tracy). He is survived by his grandchildren, Kirk, Brianna, Nicole, Tiffany, Angel, Gage, Courtney, Nathan, Kelcie and Kaelee; and six great-grandchildren. He is survived by sister Peggy (Mike) Godfrey, Wileville. He is predeceased by brothers, Harris, Douglas, James and Richard; and sisters, Ruth, Pearl, Jean and Shirley. Norman worked for the Town of Bridgewater until his retirement and spent a considerable amount of time farming in his earlier years. He enjoyed woodcarving, working in the yard and socializing. A small memorial service for close family and friends will be held 11:00 a.m. on June 16, 2012 at 139 Woodworth Road, Laconia, NS. A special thank you to the doctors and nurses at the South Shore Regional Hospital, the VON and the staff at Hillside Pines.
