Obituary of Greta Yvonne Dorey

Greta Yvonne Dorey 83, resident of Hillsview Acres, Middlefield, formerly of Pinehurst, Lunenburg Co., passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2012 in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool. Born, February 6, 1928 in Union Square, she was a daughter of the late Angus and Olivia (Silver) MacKay. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Surviving are several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Eric; brothers, Clarence, Ira, William, Lemuel, Laurie. No visitation at the funeral home by request. Public graveside service 2 p.m. Friday, January 6 in Hillside Cemetery, Upper Northfield. Rev. William Gustafson officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association or Salvation Army.
