Obituary of Vincent Eugene Eagles

Vincent "Chubby" Eugene Eagles 72, North River, Lunenburg Co., passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 in Rosedale Home for Special Care, New Germany, where he had been residing. Born January 5, 1940 in North River, he was a son of the late Frederick Charles and Stella (Burgoyne) Eagles. Surviving are sisters, Roxie Clark, Kingston; Faye Crosby, Cambridge; brothers, Ronald Eagles, North River; Wayne (Theresa) Eagles, Cherryfield; many nieces and nephews and their families. He was predeceased by sister in law, Joan Eagles; brother in law, John Crosby. There was no visitation at the funeral home by request. A public graveside service was held 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 15, 2012 in St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery, North River. Rev. David Whynot officiating. Family flowers only, donations may be made to Multiple Sclerosis Society of Nova Scotia, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church or St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery.
