Obituary of William Glenwood Ernst

William "Billy" Glenwood Ernst 80 Maitland passed away Wednesday January 4th in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater after a brief illness. Born in Upper Cornwall, he was the son of the late Glen and Margaret (Burgoyne) Ernst. Billy is survived by a sister Ester Saltzman, Berwick, many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sister, Helen Eisnor, brothers Moyle, Wallace, Frederick, Gurney, Stanley, Paul, Ronald, James, Lowell, and an infant brother. A funeral service will be held Friday 2pm January 6 in Sweeny’s Funeral Chapel, Bridgewater. Rev, Ian M Wissler officiating. Burial will follow in the Christ Church Cemetery, Maitland. No visiting at the funeral home by request. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Christ Anglican Church Cemetery Fund, or the Canadian Cancer Society.
