Obituary of Hildred Lilian Feindell
Hildred Lilian Feindell (Nee Eisener)
Of New Canada passed away Thursday, July 5th 2012 in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. She was born in Farmington, NS on March 1, 1938 to the late Collins and Sadie Eisener (nee Corkum). Hildred had a long and happy marriage of 56 years to Bruce D Feindell that began on August 20, 1955. She was a devoted volunteer for numerous organizations and was an active member of the New West Pine United Church. Music was a great passion of hers and she was an accomplished Dobro player. A great pride for her was having met the Father of Bluegrass, Bill Munroe an also to have played Josh Graves’ Dobro. Hildred is survived by her husband Bruce and their children, Elizabeth L Hubley (Danny) and son Kerry; Elwood (Betty) and daughters Jeanie, Nicole, Staci and Michaelia; Angela J. Bruhm (Wayne) and sons Francis and Rodney, their spouses, 13 great-grandchildren and her sister I. Marlene Tidd (Perley). She is predeceased by her grandson Ethan Feindell; brother, Eldred B. Eisner and sister, Ferne G Eisenor. Visitation will be held in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 4895 Highway 10 New Germany, Monday July 9 from 7-9pm. Funeral Service will held 2pm Tuesday July 10 in New West Pine United Church, Pinehurst, Rev. Dale Gray officiating. Private family burial will follow in Lakeside Cemetery, New Canada.
