Obituary of Grace Evelyn Garber

Grace Evelyn Garber 96 of Newcombville passed away Sunday August 19, 2012 in Hillside Pines Home for Special Care, Bridgewater. Born in Newcombville, she was the daughter of the late Burton and Novella (Zwicker) Meisner; she was also the last surviving member of her immediate family. Grace is survived by her daughter Dorothy (Ron) Grantham, Halifax; granddaughter Lynn (Vince) Nelson, Dartmouth; great-granddaughter Ashley (Kevin Lefrense) Derrah, Dartmouth; step great-granddaughter Tracy Nelson, Edmonton Alberta along with many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Harold; sisters Elsie Eagle, Doris Wentzell and brother Lloyd Meisner. Visitation will be held 7:00 to 9:00 P.M., Tuesday 21 August in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater from where the funeral service will be held 11:00 A.M., Wednesday 22 August, Rev. Ben Coltvet officiating. Burial will follow in the Newcombville Cemetery. Family flowers only, please. Memorial donations in Grace’s memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
