Obituary of Lawson Delbert Hirtle

Lawson Delbert Hirtle 85, LaHave Islands, Lunenburg Co., passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2012 in Mahone Nursing Home, Mahone Bay. Born on LaHave Islands, he was a son of the late Percy and Lillian (Wentzell) Hirtle. Surviving are sister, Shirley (Marcus) Bush, Bush Island; brothers, Leon, Eric, Everette, all of LaHave Islands; Frank (Judy), Bush Island; nieces, Trudy (Mike); Felicia (Matt); great nephews, Ashtin and Colby Corkum. He was predeceased by sisters, Nelson, Delbert, Reginald, St. Clair, Lester; sisters, Elizabeth and one in infancy. Visitation 7-9 p.m., Wednesday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Public graveside service will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, June 14 in Peaceful Hill Cemetery, West Dublin. Rev. Lawrence Mawhinney officiating.
