Obituary of Edward Elmer Lambert
Edward "Ted" Elmer Lambert
95, Bridgewater, Lunenburg Co., passed away on Saturday, July 14, 2012 in Fishermen’s Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg. Born July 8, 1917 in Mount Forest, Ont., he was a son of the late Elmer and Flora (Barkey) Lambert. He was brought up and educated in Toronto. He served as Lieutenant in the Anti Aircraft Defense, Atlantic Command and later worked for the Canadian Arsenals in Montreal. Ted then retired to Bridgewater with his wife. He was a member of Pleasantville Baptist Church, Pleasantville. Surviving are his brother, Richard “Dick” (Gloria), Ontario; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Eva Genetta (Cook) Lambert; brother, Dr. Harold Lambert, sisters in law, Ruth Lambert, Mabel Rhodenizer. Visitation 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater and where funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday. Pastor Mitchell Foley officiating. Burial will follow in Parkdale Community Cemetery, Parkdale. Family flowers only, donations may be made to Pleasantville Baptist Church or charity of choice.
