Obituary of Edith Marguerite Berrigan

BERRIGAN, Edith Marguerite - Age 75 of Mount Pleasant, Lunenburg County, died suddenly at home on Saturday March 17, 2018. She was the daughter of Marguerite (Meisner) Corkum and the late Charles (Gerald) Corkum of Mount Pleasant.

Edith is survived by her husband , Douglas; mother, Marguerite Corkum; sons, Wayne (Denise Payne) Berrigan and Brian (Heidi Reimer) Berrigan; brother, Harland (Joann) Corkum and grandson, Brandon Berrigan.

Edith was a kind and generous lady whose volunteer work will be greatly missed by many, in particular the LaHave Islands Marine Museum Society, West Side United Church and the Maritime Motorcycle Touring Association.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, March 23 in West Side United Church , Pentz. Rev. Neil McEwen officiating; a reception will follow the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Lahave Islands Marine Museum Society or West Side United Church.
