To the family,
I am sorry to hear of Ruby's passing. I have a couple connections with her that go way back. She lived just a short distance from where my Mom grew up in LaHave. And she was my first school teacher. How lucky I was to start off with someone so kind and caring. I remember her well with fondness and gratitude.

I am saddened to hear of Ruby's passing.
Moving to the Lahave area in 1985, I saw much of Ruby's contribution to the community and spent many happy hours with her at her riverside home.
Thinking of you Ruby. Thank-you for giving me many so many happy memories.

So sorry to hear of "aunt" Ruby's passing. I have fond childhood memories of visiting that little house on the shore of the LaHave River with my parents Jack & Gretchen Blakeney. And yes, those cookies were the best.
