Obituary of Marilyn Maree Bell

BELL, Marilyn Maree - Age 77, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on the evening of January 6, 2019. Born in Branch LaHave, she was the daughter of Delmer and Effie (Bolivar) Conrad.

Mom was one of the most loving people you could ever meet. Family meant everything to her. Known for her love of animals, babies, and coconut cream pie, Marilyn will be best remembered for her kind-hearted demeanor, and willingness to help anyone she met. Mom had the innate ability to find the good in all.

Marilyn is survived by her husband of 55 years, William Bell of Cookville; daughter, Cindy (Ed); grandchildren, Kelsey (John), Zachary, Maxxim; great-grandchildren, Atticus, Aurelia; sisters, Kathy (Craig), Vivian (Tom), Sherry; and cherished nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, David.

Our family wishes to thank her many friends and neighbours for their love and support during this difficult time. We also wish to thank the exceptional 4th floor staff and specifically, Nurse Jenna of the South Shore Regional Hospital.

A visitation will be held Friday, January 11, 2019 from 7-9 p.m. at Sweeny's Funeral Home in New Germany. A funeral service will take place on Saturday, January 12 at 2 p.m. at St. James Lutheran Church in Branch LaHave. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to SHAID or the charity of your choice.
