I met David years ago in England and I've often smiled thinking of the time he asked me to say 'tomato' in my Canadian accent. He laughed and laughed at my pronunciation. So very sorry to hear this news. Condolences to the family and all who knew and loved him. RIP, David.

You were my older nephew and I have lots of memories from our childhood, especially your punk years. You moved to Nova Scotia for a better life with your family.. I may not have seen you for a number of years but you were still in my thoughts. I am sorry that I cannot be there today to celebrate your life and mourn your passing, but I hoe that your family are comforted by their memories of you.

You were my first nephew. I watched you as a baby then through your childhood years. You then became a punk which I thought was a bit weird but still loved you. Then you married and became a dad to Andrew. You moved to Nova Scotia . Although I didn’t see you much after that I always kept in touch through your mum and dad. You then had 2 lovely daughters and recently became a granddad. You will be missed by all who crossed your path. I cannot be there in person but will be thinking of you and everyone there. You will Be sorely missed but never forgotten

I was very sorry to hear of the passing of David and my thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends at this time. Although I haven’t seen David for many many years he was a memorable part of my childhood as our family camped together. I will never forget his huge Doc Martin boots sticking out from the bottom of his tent whilst he listen to his “music” and my amazement and at his fascinating hair style, also the horror when he told me that it was held in place with egg white, still making me smile today. RIP David. Gone but never forgotten.
