I am so sorry to hear of Karen's passing. We knew each other as Bayview Community School co-workers and as players in community theatre. Karen was a lovely person to work with - laughter was her byword. I will miss her.

I met Karen at St. Norbert's, Lunenburg in her role as Religious Educator. She was a great organizer of family and Sunday School events that nurtured our children in their faith. Thank you, Karen. Sympathy to your family for their loss.

Dearest Karen,
Some time ago, you decided to grace our wonderful Planet Earth with your presence, and thereafter tread gently upon it, caressing us all with your love and tenderness.
Everyone, who has ever been fortunate enough to get to know you, get to love you, get to be part of your beautiful life, or just meet you for a fleeting moment, will forever bless the time they spent in your company.
I have been one of those lucky people, who shared more than just a fleeting moment with you. You then introduced me to many of the incredible people that had also been drawn into your life. Drawn in by your loveliness, your tenderness, your drive and commitment to whatever you did. Never showing us anything but kindness.
Each and everyone of us, are eternally thankful for having been able to join you for a small part of your journey on this Earth. Each and everyone of us will struggle with the sadness of your parting for some time to come. However, we will all continue our personal journeys on this planet, having become better, wiser, kinder and more loving individuals, thanks to your amazing influence on our lives.
Rest gently beautiful lady.
Much love.
Dave Brumwell.

Karen’s generous spirit led her to share her creative talents outside of the Have-a-Laugh Players’ productions. She was a valued member of the South Shore Players and, over the years, Karen directed several SSP plays. Not only will her presence be missed by many but also her theatrical expertise.
Our condolences to John, Michelle and family. May the support of family and friends help you get through this difficult time.

I wish to express my sadness hearing of the passing of Karen. I met Karen when our young sons started school together bringing us friendship outside the school activities, either after school play dates, Bay Boo, Camp Mush, class trips, cookie exchanges and the dinner theatres she put her heart and soul into to bring the tasty food and entertainment. Her kindness and caring that touched everyone she met will be greatly missed. May God ease the pain of this loss.

Brian, Michelle, and family... I am so sorry to hear that Karen has passed away. If my memory serves me well, we first met back in the late 70s during a summer of speaking French. Karen was an instructor that summer. I also remember her as a vibrant member of St. Norbert’s church. My mother and Karen worked together on many initiatives. Many years ago Brian, you and I were in class together at Lunenburg High school. May you all find some comfort in the many memories and stories that you have and share. My thoughts are with you.
