Mike there is no words for how heart broken this makes me to say goodbye to you .You gave me such a beautiful gift ,Jonathan and Jason that have grown into strong caring young men. Jason and Monique will soon be bringing our little granddaughter into this world and feel that joy of bringing a child in this world.Jonathan reminds me of you often he looks so much like you even has the same hand gestures. Mike you will never be forgotten, you left your mark in our boys. I will miss us teasing each other over who is getting older looking . I promise you I will do my best to be there for our family. Mike rest in peace now and watch over us, we will talk about you often and keep our memories of you in our hearts forever .

Our heartfelt sympathies to Jeanne and all Mike’s family. Mike and I were neighborhood friends in Paradise. As kids we road our bikes, played hockey on the neighborhood pond and spent hours trying to float an old cast-iron bathtub down the brook behind my parent’s house. In later years we built a dune buggy out of an old Volkswagen beetle. Mike was a great driver even then, maneuvering around obstacles that I’m sure I would have hit. Deb’s first memory of Mike is all 3 of us on that dune buggy zooming around the pines next to his home. Fun times! So glad we kept in touch through the years. Miss you dear friend. Rest In Peace. There will always be a place for you in our hearts.

To the Thompson family. I’m so sorry to hear of your loss. I have many fond memories of growing up with Mike next door. We spent many hours playing hockey on the pond and building swamp buggies. Building camps for guys only and putting hundreds of miles on our bikes riding the countryside. We did it all and probably a few things we shouldn’t have but we had a blast anyway. He may be gone but he will always have a place in my mind as I and many others reflect back on the past. Mike was a great guy. It has been many years since I saw him but he comes up in conversation with friends and family. May God comfort your hearts at this time. Garry Baltzer.

To Mike's Family, my condolences as you mourn your loss. I grew up with Mike and played sports with him in Lawrencetown. Approximately a month or so ago, I saw Mike as was into my place of business while making a delivery. He recognized me however it took me some time, to recognize him.
It had been over 25 years we think... since we had seen one another. We had a wonderful little visit. I could tell how much he enjoyed his career and how proud he was of his family.
Rest in Peace Mike.

Jeanne and Mike's family;
My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this very sad time. An empty spot in your hearts.
Enjoyed many chats with Mike over the years . My best memory is when Mike came and cooked Scott's favorite meal for Scottie's 40th birthday ( much appreciated) . He was a very loving and kind hearted guy . He will be sadly missed by many .
