Cindy and Scott ...
My condolences to you and your families. I was so sorry to hear about the passing of this great lady, your Mom, and I know she will be greatly missed. Hard to believe how many years she made us laugh and cry. I remember Shelagh's compassion and kindness when our Mom passed away - they had been lifelong friends since Crescent Street in Bridgewater. So now we think about you and send our sympathy with your loss.
May she rest in peace.

Thoughts and prayers are with you and your family as you mourn the passing of your mother. I remember Shelagh’s contagious laugh/giggle telling stories of Bruce’s Christmas shopping at Mills, at the Balcom Christmas parties at Aunt Zilpha’s.

My sincere condolences. I met Shelagh through my Mother, Olga Conrad, who was a good friend from their days at Drumlin Hills. My trips to see Mum always included visits with Shelagh. After Mum’s passing we went on a ‘road trip’ to the Lunenburg Bakery where they enjoyed going. Shelagh pointed out her former home and other spots of interest along our route and shared memories of her adventures with my Mum. We kept in sporadic contact through e-mails and letters until her move to Ridgewood Assisted Care. She was a warm, funny, delightful woman and will be missed.

I am so sorry for your loss. Shelagh will be remembered by me as always vivacious, friendly and often hilarious. I enjoyed our visits and chats when she dropped in to my bookstore on King St. She spoke often of her family and was so proud of you all. Wishing you so many happy memories.

Cindy, Scott & Families: We are saddened to learn of Shelagh's passing. We were privileged to meet your sweet mom (and dad) many years ago in the LaHave area, through our relatives who lived there. We immediately felt her warm friendship, and thoroughly enjoyed her company in the following years....loved her unique chuckle. We also visited Drumlin Hills in recent years when Wayne and his sister shared their musical entertainment, much to Shelagh's delight. We are thankful she touched our lives and will always remember her. God Bless you all. Our Sincere Sympathy, Tender Thoughts & Prayers, Muriel & Wayne Hiltz

Scott and Cindy, We were heartbroken to hear of your mother’s passing. She was an amazing lady. I remember the day I first met her when she moved here at Drumlin Hills. We had many a conversation over her years here. She talked a lot of her husband, Bruce and naturally her children and grandchildren. I found her a very emotional person and like myself could cry ever so easy. My husband Garnet loved to tease her and she could give it right back. Lol! She will be missed by many and we will have good memories of her. Naturally Covid came along and our visits stopped because of restrictions, but I did call off and on. I remember when she had to give up driving her Volkswagen. She loved that little bug. We offered many a time to take her shopping or whatever. She hated to impose on people. I knew she had many very close and dear friends, but that never stopped us from offering. She even excepted a few times.
She will now join her loving husband. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of Shelagh’s family.
RIP our dear friend.

I'd like to pass along my condolences to Scott and his family and to Cindy and her family. I remember when your Mom & Dad moved into the house across the street from us on Royal Pine - moved from Bridgewater - I'm sure my mother said - I think you might want to close and lock your doors here in - this isn't Bridgewater :)
