I was so sorry to hear about the passing of Mr. Linthorne. I have such fond memories of him from the football sidelines in Mississauga. He gave the best bear hugs. He was a great man and I am so sorry for your loss - Jami (Morgan) Smith
Lynne: Please forgive me for not responding sooner but it seems that I have had so many obits lately that I just wish 2021 would get to 2022. Hopefully a better year to be. So sorry to hear of Gary's passing. His Himmelman heritage brought both of you here and life in Lunenburg County has been greatly improved by both of you. I am honored to have been a small part of that conversion. Please accept Karen and my condolences and hopefully sharing grief with you will be comforting.

Lynne and family, so sorry for your loss, Gary wore many hats, and enjoyed life. We remember in a hot July a man In The red suit visiting at our cottage, as we celebrated Christmas in July with family. The man In red suit joined us for Christmas Seniors diners in Dec for seniors who lived alone and delivered a treat to them. The man in the red suit also took time to visit Porter crescent on Christmas Eve with a little treat for our neighbours. It was also a pleasure to work with Gary. Gary was also a friend and dog sitter to many furry friends included our

Gary & I worked together for many years at Dominion Stores at the Head Office on Rogers Road. After leaving that workplace, we kept in touch over years in our retail careers. Gary was always accommodating, and willing with me in all endeavors. Please accept my condolences during this time of grief.

Gary was a wonderful coach to my son when he started with the original Seahawks in Bridgewater. He was patient and kind when I needed reassurance that my son would be safe playing football. We will always remember him fondly and with gratefulness . Our condolences to your family.
Lynne, we are saddened to hear about Gary. We will miss his bright smile and chats at the shop. Take care, sending you love at this sad time.
