All the family, In sincere sympathy. Your loss is heaven's gain and the reward of a crown for one of the finest of Christian
women. Health prevents me from July 20 memorial gathering, but I will be taking that time to remember Glenys from my own
home while in prayer for you all. Glenys' mother Vivian was my mother Evelyn (Spidle) Taylor's best friend in their growing up
years at Scarsdale. Glenys was such a dear friend to me, and we shared much time together. I think of her as living
elsewhere now, in the home that was prepared above for her. God continue to comfort and care for you all,
Marlean (Taylor) Rhodenizer

We were lucky to get to know Glenys through our dear friends, her daughter, Diane and son-in-law, Kevin, over the many years that she spent long visits with them here in Edmonton. She was an amazing, talented, and somewhat quiet woman, who only occasionally voiced her opinions, but astounded us all by doing things such as tobogganing with her grandchildren at age 75! We were very sorry to hear that she was ill and even sadder to hear that she has now left us. We'll miss her presence at our annual Boxing Day visit with Diane, Kevin and their family. Our sincere sympathy to all who loved Glenys, and our love to our friends.

I was beyond blessed to have grown up in a home where my sister, brother, and I not only had an amazing mom, but her three sisters all had significant impact on us as well. Aunt Glenys was a 2nd mom for sure. Much of my summers as a boy were spent in her home and I felt as loved and cared for by her as I did my mom. Aunt Glenys made hospitality an art form while making it look like the easiest thing in the world. She moved around her kitchen in the midst of a crowd like she was at a ballroom dance. As a kid, I was always in awe and as I got older, I came to understand the gift of family she created in the kitchen. We were always welcome, always loved, and always at home. I find myself spending a lot of time in quiet reflection these days and so very grateful for the special family I am blessed to be part of. I look forward to one day seeing your face again my dear, sweet Aunt Glenys! Enjoy the arms of Jesus and give mom a hug for me. I love you and miss you dearly!!!
