Sincere condolences to Len's family from a distant relative. I only met Len once, but became very fond of him from that brief encounter. Although life's circumstances on this Earth didn't allow us much time together, hopefully we can make that up on the other side.

I was saddened to read of Len's passing. I met Len in 1957 when we both were in the RCN Basic Training I had eleven siblings He had 18. Probably the first time we both had a bed of our own.
He always had a smile & was always upbeat.
We never sailed on the same ships but we would bump into each other occasionally in foreign ports & navy reunions.
Just as he was in Basic Training he was the same each time we met.
A pleasure to be around.

Dear Len: It was back in the 1990's that I really got to know you when we had numerous informal chats. You left me with fond memories of times when we shared stories and humour. You and your beautiful, down to earth wife, Isabel, raised a wonderful family of which two members became exceptional students [and teachers] of mine at Hebbville Consolidated Junior High School. Bless you, Len, and bless your lovely family.

Darren and Selena,
I am so sorry to hear of your father's passing. I will always remember your Dad as a wonderful man, a proud father and grandfather, whom I respected greatly. Len always brightened my day with a smile and a little chat. I will never forget a mean game of cards at the house one evening after he retired.
Please accept my sincerest condolences.
