Mary Ann and Family....please accept my sincere condolences. I will always remember with fondness the inspriration Mr Langille provided as my Gr 9 Math teacher at NGRHS when we first ventured into the joys of 'the new math'. It was such a joy to reconnect with him and with you as we met to prepare for the article for the NG Connections just a few years ago. The love of music and people you both shared has made such an impact of so many far and wide. May good memories, love, faith, friends and family sustain you as give thanks for your life together and adjust to these news days without him at your side.
May God's Blessings surround you,

Where do I start. So many wonderful memories from years gone by with MaryAnn and Harold. My Dad Tom White and I started playing with the Bridgetown Fiddlers with Harold as our teacher. MaryAnn hosted us and played piano. What wonderful people and so talented. I will miss Harold’s smile and wink I would get when he was happy with a new tune I would learn. Has been a few years since I have saw him but I will miss his smile and friendship forever. One more fiddle is playing in heaven today. RIP

Mr. Langille was my grade 8 math teacher and father to my classmates, John and David, and their sister, Cheryl. The impression he left on me didn’t come until I was in my 40s and band parent, resurrecting “Fiddle Fest” as a fund raiser for our band kids. I hosted he and MaryAnn and several of the Bridgetown Fiddlers for a pre concert reception at my home, and I enjoyed our conversations and came to appreciate him so much more than when I was 12 years old! He was a lovely man. May he Rest In Peace.

Extending our sympathies to all the family. I doubt there is anyone from Bridgetown who doesn't know the name Harold Langille. I had him in junior high for math and by golly, you were going to learn it one way or another. A rare teacher who could find different ways for different learning styles. My Mom thought highly of Mr. Langille. Thoughts are with you all.

I am very sorry to hear of Harold's passing. My sincere sympathy to MaryAnn and all the family. I was one of the lucky ones who learned how to play the fiddle from Harold, when he lived in Bridgetown. He was a very patient teacher! I was a member of the Bridgetown Fiddlers, along with my dad, Clayton, and we had lots of laughs and good times. He loved to play and he loved to pass on his knowledge and skill. I still play a bit and have lots of great memories of those times.

"I wish to extend sincere sympathy to Mr. Langille's family on his passing. Mr. Langille was my Math teacher in my 1st year of Grade 9 at Bridgetown Regional High School and in my 2nd year of Grade 9 he was my Home Room teacher. I remember being terrified of him when I had him for Math but in the 2nd year, as Home Room teacher, I was much more comfortable. If I remember correctly, he and Mrs. Langille lived just up the street from me on Park Lane, while in Bridgetown, but my memory might not be serving me correctly. It was such a long time ago. God bless you all at this very sad time in your lives."

MaryAnn, David, and Cheryl, I was so sorry to read of Harold's death. I have wonderful memories of Harold as a school teacher and all your family when I was your main babysitter when you were building your home in Bridgetown. Harold let me take his push button car home after the late nights. Harold was my transport to school on occasion when I purposefully missed the bus in hopes of having my Mom’s car. Harold would always stop and pick me up! My deepest sympathy to you at this time. May Harold Rest In Peace. He was a good man.

Mary Ann, David, and Cheryl,
I was so sorry to read of Harold's death in today's paper. I remember all five of you living next door to me on Park Lane. I remember the time Harold shot a pesky crow from one of the many pine trees in my backyard. He received the 'Crow Foot Award' at the staff party that year, and we had many laughs together while at BRHS.
My deepest sympathy to you at this time. May he rest in peace.
Sincerely, Ann

Our deepest condolences to MaryAnn, David, Cheryl and families in the passing of your beloved husband and father, Harold. We enjoyed our visits with Harold and MaryAnn in Bridgewater, over the last number of years, and there was always lively music on the menu, during these visits, with Harold and Bryan playing fiddle and MaryAnn on the piano. Harold taught Bryan to play fiddle many years earlier in Bridgetown, and they played for several years together at the Annual Bridgetown Fiddle Festival, and taught together at BRHS. We cherish our memories of visits with Harold, and will miss his love of life, and his incredible interest in everything around him and his musical talents. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time.
