Thank you Shirley (Nanny) for being a kind and caring woman to me my entire life. I am so blessed to have have you in my life, and incredibly sad that you have left us. I know you are in a better place now and in no pain of this world. We will miss you so very much Nanny and I thank you for sharing your wisdom and caring heart with with me. I feel so fortunate that I was in Nova Scotia in January and was able to have dinner with Aunt Shirley a couple of times. Growing up she and Uncle Preston were a constant presence in my life. My parents adored their companionship and could think of no better way to spend their time than visiting family along the south shore. Aunt Shirley was a bright, kind soul that enjoyed conversation and a good laugh. I am grateful that my sisters, still residing in Nova Scotia, were able to spend time with Aunt Shirley and be there to support her, especially in these last few years. Aunt Shirley - thank you for being a kind an loving Aunt. You will be missed and forever loved. Cora Sperry and Family.
