Bill was a wonderful person. He was genuinely interested in everyone and had a great sense of humour. We met him up in Ontario at Lake Cecebe when visiting Lynn and Bob. It was wonderful sitting on the dock telling stories and just chatting. My thoughts are with you as you work through your loss. He will be greatly missed.

Grandpa always liked to play games with Jonah, Hayden and I. As you can see scaring Jonah might have been one of his favourites, and I too enjoyed watching him be scared. He taught me to play the ukulele, and beat anyone at cards (except for him of course.) One of our favourite memories was the jawbreaker machine Grandpa had in the basement, he would always give us 25 cents to spend on a jaw breaker when we were up at the house. Whenever we asked he would give us a quarter, I’m starting to think maybe he wasn’t ever reluctant because those quarters went back to him eventually. I used to love when we were at the beach and Jonah and I could take turns jumping off of his shoulders into the lake. We were lucky enough to have a Grandpa who would teach us any game we wanted to know and build us anything we could think of (including a purple kitchen and an awesome tree house)
We send our love to our Nova Scotia Family; Granny, Aunt Mandy, Dally and everyone else who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Love,
Julie and Jonah Gibson
