Debbie & Family,
My sincere condolence on your loss, I worked with Earle for a short time in the mid 80's then returned to his office at Clayton in the early 2000. Earle was one of those people that you meet in life that it can be said he was a very fine fellow, a real gentleman. It warmed my heart to read of his family life which of course is always the most important. So sad to have loss such a fine person so young.

Debbie, I am shocked to hear of Earle’s passing. I know you and the family are in horrible pain. I wish I had some clever words to ease your pain but there are no words. I have been recalling memories of this wonderful man and one stands out. It was in the early years of our working lives. You and Earle came by for a visit. He saw the car I was driving to work every day ( an old Beetle bug with holes in the floor boards). He was so worried about my safety that he immediately dragged me off to buy a new car! A new car was purchased that day. This speaks to me as to the kind of man Earle was. Putting others first. We had many fun times during our university years and I remember fondly some of our shenanigans. Please know that you and the family are in my thoughts and my hope is that your pain will ease with time. Thinking of you with love.

I am pleased to have known Earle many years and send heartfelt sympathy to Debbie and family.
Another good man taken too young. But he had a great life. It was always a pleasure to deal with Earle.

We met Debbie and Earle when we moved to Halifax from Ontario in 1988. We met through our young sons and became steadfast friends immediately. Over the years, we formed beautiful memories together so many of which stem from the many times we spent in Cape Breton. From boating and swimming in the Margaree River and Whale Cove beach to exploring backwood trails with our children and dogs. We shared so many, many laughs. Who can forget the marathon Auction 45 games, at the kitchen table, that went on to the early hours of the morning.
Earle and Debbie were so much more than friends and we consider them extended family. Even though life increased the geographical distance between us, we knew that, if we needed them, all we had to do was call and they would be there no questions asked. Good times or bad, they have always been there. It is hard to think of Earle, without Debbie, as they were so inextricably attached. Earle was a wonderful man and he will live in our hearts forever.
Rest In Peace dear friend, until we meet again.

To Deborah, Blair, Janis, and the entire Richardson family,
On behalf of Cresco's staff, management, and owners, our deepest condolences on Earle's passing. We worked with Earle as customers and partners for many years prior to his retirement, and I also sat with him as a Director on the Board of UDI. At all times, he was a consummate professional, showing his understanding of good development practices. More importantly, however, Earle was a great example of being a good person, always showing good character and judgement. He will be missed.

Earl was a good friend to my brother Robert and myself .
We grew up together on Harvard St and he was like a brother and best friend all wrapped up in one.
He had such enthusiasm for life and was truly a kind man.
He loved his wife and family very much and he will be truly missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing him.
My sincere condolences to Debbie and Family

Mrs. Richardson my sincere condolences to you and the entire family, it’s not easy losing a loved one, and it’s even harder when it’s your parent. Know that the peace and love of Christ is with you all, and that sorrow may last for a night, but joy comes in the morning.
There is no length to the grieving process and everyone starts in a different place, take your time and allow yourself to grieve. If you need anything at all please let me know ❤️

I was fortunate to be neighbours with Debbie and Earle in West Lahave. We enjoyed many riverside campfires together. Earle was an amazing husband and father. You could feel the love the family had for one another. I feel heartbroken for Debbie, Blair and Janice. Cherish the wonderful memories you shared as a family. My deepest sympathy, Beth in Germany
